Senator Kevin Matthews Birthday Jazz Fundraiser Featuring Saxophonist Don Diego

Oklahoma Senator Kevin Matthews is hosting a fundraising event to raise money for the new North Tulsa Construction School. The event will be held at the 36th Street Event Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma Saturday, March 5th.

Senator Matthews stated “We are having a fundraiser celebrating my Birthday and raising money for the new North Tulsa Construction school opening March 14th. Justice involved and non college bound individuals will learn the construction trade.”

The entertainment for this event is Saxophonist Don Diego who has been traveling the world for the last thirty years serenading fans everywhere from corporate events to festivals.  Some of the artists he has shared the stage with are Vanilla Ice, Johnny Taylor and Kenny G.  National recording artists Kirk Whalam and Gerald Albright have been featured on Don’s projects.

This Texas Southern University alumani has accomplished the unheard of, by performing at Vinetti’s, formerly Stonetrail, for the last 18 years each and every Friday and Saturday night to a standing room only crowd.
