Situation Update

To date, the Tulsa Health Department (THD) has confirmed 6,856 positive COVID-19 cases in Tulsa County. 5,740 residents have recovered and 89 have died. Tulsa County COVID-19 Updates

On July 21, Tulsa County reached the milestone that 1 percent of residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The United States reached this milestone on July 13. To date, there have been no recent infectious diseases that have spread so rapidly as to infect 1 percent of the population in less than six months.

For this reason, and to the protect the integrity of our local healthcare system, the City of Tulsa continues to operate under a Civil Emergency, with a mask ordinance now in effect for those over the age of 18. 

Mask Updates & Exchange Locations

A Way Home for Tulsa and Housing Solutions Tulsa have partnered to provide free mask exchange locations across Tulsa in an effort to ensure everyone has access to cloth face coverings to be in compliance with City ordinances. The effort is intended to help those experiencing homelessness have a place to pick up and wash their masks.

Those locations include:

Denver House

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Tuesday and Friday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

 

Iron Gate

Daily, 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

For the most up-to-date information on masks and to see a list of FAQs regarding the mandatory face mask ordinance, visit www.cityoftulsa.org/masks. Various graphic elements, such as flyers and social media graphics, are also available on the mask page that any business can use. These flyers can be placed in windows, on doors and in other publicly visible places at each businesses’ discretion. Flyers have been translated into various languages as well.

The City’s website, www.cityoftulsa.org, has a tool to help with translation assistance for any page. Website visitors can click the drop down menu on any page that says, “Select Language,” and choose from one of more than 100 different languages.
