A 21-year-old black woman from Arizona is heartbroken after discovering that his white boyfriend has been sending racist messages about her to his friends. They’ve been dating for several months now.

It was while Tatum Patrice was spending time with the man and playing off music with his phone that she discovered the group chats he used to have with his friends. The conversations have been going on for quite some time behind her back.

Reading through the messages, she found out that the man told his friends that he always wanted to call her the N-word, adding that his grandfather would have ‘owned’ her and proclaimed ‘f*** black women.’ In response, the friends encouraged him to go ahead and do it.

Patrice took several screenshots of the chats and quickly posted the racist messages on Twitter.

“So I’ve been talking to this white guy for a few months now. I gave my all to this man [for real]… come to find out, he’s been racist this whole time. THIS is how he talks about me to his friends,” she explained in a Twitter post.
