Latoya Rose Closing The Wealth Gap On Black Wall Street

Rose Tax Solutions is a boutique tax firm dedicated to promote global economic justice. This is accomplished with their signature business development bootcamps, financial literacy books, and the Black Wall Street Exchange. The firm ensures taxpayers understand how to lower their tax obligations, to leverage tax law with ease, and to improve their wealth forecast for future generations.

LaToya Rose is a third-generation Black Wall Street entrepreneur who opened her location on Historic Greenwood Avenue in September 2017 to be a beacon of hope to her newborn daughter, Greatness Elizabeth Rose. After living on the east coast for over ten years, Rose has a strong desire to help her community how to become thriving minority businesses.

Rose stresses the need for financial strategies in the citizens of Tulsa North community; “In order to capture the beauty of Black Wall Street, we as a community must figure out how to individually stimulate our respective communities with our time, talents, and treasures.”

 

 

LaToya Rose received her accounting training at Tulsa Tech while attending Booker T. Washington High School in 2002 and began her tax career while a student at Langston University to assist her classmates with preparing their tax returns in order to receive the Education Credit. Her journey continued from being an Office Manager with H&R Block to operating a business and entertainment consulting firm, LR International LLC. It was during 2016, when she expanded her expertise to help trucking professionals eliminate large tax debts and bills.

In October 2018, Rose saw a need to make herself available to the community at large when she hosted several business development and tax bootcamps before launching the Black Wall Street Exchange.

Rose stated, “When you know tax law and how to apply the laws to your everyday life, then and only then, does tax season become less stressful.”
