Bobby Eaton has a vested interest in the Tulsa North community and has launched KBOB 89.9. Community radio is when local people produce and broadcast their own programs and participate in operating the station. It is community space for people to meet and collaborate. It is extraordinarily fun and often life changing. It leads to individual creativity and self-empowerment. Something that is greatly needed in the everchanging Tulsa North community. It is in essence a voice to the voice less.

Eaton saw the need to bridge the gap in urban media awareness in Tulsa he stated “First it was a vision for communication within the immediate community but, since its launch has become a pillar for a defining mixture of information for all ages. We have, The Bobby Eaton Show, The Juice Radio Show, Velly Vel, Two Dawgs Sports Talk Radio and World Won Development with Damali Wilson and Charles Harper.

Eaton also stated “As we look to the future, we are looking to expand The Juice Radio across the nation which is hosted by Ramal Brown. We are looking to recruit new Juice network journalist and, are also looking forward to the Centennial Year on Black Wall Street during that time we will be expanding our broadcast area I’m also very happy that my son Bobby Tre Eaton III is the technician and recording engineer for the recording studio.”
