When it comes to gymnastics, odds are the first name that comes to mind is Simone Biles. The Team USA superstar is one of the best athletes in modern history.
At the age of 22, Biles best days are ahead of her.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for his brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, who is facing murder charges for the Dec. 31 shooting in Cleveland, which left three dead.
The shooting broke out during an altercation at a house party inside an Airbnb.
Simone spoke on the tragedy for the first time:
“My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families.”
“There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.”
“I ask everyone to please respect my family’s privacy as we deal with our pain. XO.”
Biles-Thomas is facing six counts of murder, three counts of voluntary manslaughter, five counts of felony assault, and one count of perjury.
