Pastor Tommy and Brenda Todd and Gap Standers from around the world will be celebrating 20 years of prayer ministry from May 2-4, 2019 at Noah’s Event Venue at 12710 State Farm Blvd. Come celebrate with them as they continue their assignment to pray the will of God into this Earth, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to “Make prayer popular again.”

Pastor Brenda Todd was the campus queen (at Grambling State University) and Pastor Tommy Todd was the drum major of the Grambling Marching Band. They met in a gospel group on campus and the rest is history. Pastors Tommy and Brenda Todd have lived in Tulsa since 1981. They moved to Tulsa by faith to travel with then Evangelist Carlton Pearson. The Todds worked alongside Bishop Pearson for 22 years. During that time, they prayed and worked to help establish Higher Dimension Ministries and the Azusa Conferences.

In 1999, while on staff at Higher “D,” they started Gap Standers International, a para-church ministry focused on prayer, and also Gethseminary Institute, a two-year prayer school. The Institute taught intercessors throughout the Tulsa region.

In 2003, the Todds left the Higher Dimensions Organization to travel full-time evangelistically to preach and promote prayer throughout the United States and abroad. Then in 2008, they founded a new church in East Tulsa called Spirit and Truth Prayse & Worship Center. Their vision was praying the will of God into the Earth by equipping the body of Christ for works of service. In 2011, they merged Spirit and Truth with Greenwood Christian Center, pastored by Debbie and Gary McIntosh. Three years later, their son, Michael Todd was given the position of Lead Pastor and the church name changed to Transformation Church. They serve as Prayer Pastors and Spiritual Coaches at Transformation Church.
