On Monday (April 8), the family of late hip-hop artist and community altruist Nipsey Hussle released official information for his funeral planned for Thursday (April 11).

Posted to the late rapper’s Instagram account, the graphic showed an angelic Nipsey with wings attached to his back as he stood among a sea of white, heavenly clouds. Information from the post states that the homegoing service will take place on his L.A. stomping grounds at the Staples Center from listed hours of 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is also open to fans who wish to pay respects to the “Victory Lap” emcee.

Since the announcement, Nipsey’s most devout fans and industry counterparts have made arrangements to attend the service. The Instagram post quickly racked up with questions and inquiries from prospective attendees regarding entry, permissible items and other concerns to make sure the event runs as smoothly as possible. Just as swiftly, misinformation about the funeral has also spread about the processes before and during the funeral as well.

With respects to Nipsey and his family, BET.com checked through the most crucial FAQs that may have caused some confusion, and we found five important tidbits of information attendees should consider before the homegoing service:

  1. I want to officially let @NipseyHussle fans & supporters know there will be NO selling of tickets to his funeral. A lot of incorrect information was released today, please know in the upcoming days and official statement will be made soon. ?

  2. THERE IS A FOUR-TICKET LIMIT PER HOUSEHOLDTickets to the funeral became available on Tuesday (April 9) at 10 a.m., as stated by Staples Center event information. Only four tickets will be allotted per attendee and are non-transferrable, as each ticket holder should take into account when arriving to the service. Via the AXS Mobile app, which the site urges ticket holders to download, access for tickets will be granted.
  3. CAMERA, VIDEO AND ANY OTHER RECORDING DEVICES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INSIDE THE VENUEOut of respect for the funeral and Nipsey’s family, organizers ask that such recording devices be restricted from the venue. Anyone found filming video or audio and/or snapping pictures may be escorted from the venue.
  4. GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ARRIVE EARLY AS DOORS WILL OPEN AT 8 A.M.Due to the anticipated heavy traffic in the downtown L.A. area, funeral attendees are asked to plan for an early arrival. Attendees will undergo security screening via metal detectors and bag inspections as well to ensure safety at the service. Nipsey’s Celebration of Life will begin at 10 a.m. sharp.
  5. THE FUNERAL PROCESSION WILL REPORTEDLY INCLUDE NIPSEY’S MARATHON CLOTHING STOREThough not yet confirmed by the homegoing service’s organizers or Nipsey Hussle’s family, prospective reports hold that the procession will run by Nipsey’s emblematic Marathon Clothing store located at the Crenshaw Blvd. and Slauson Ave. intersection.

Reports add that Nipsey’s casket will travel through 25 miles of L.A. to important landmarks of his legacy, such as his Slauson Ave. neighborhood, and to grant fans and supporters who are unable to attend the homegoing service an opportunity to pay their last respects as well. The procession will reportedly begin at the close of the service.
