With nine players remaining after three were kicked off the team Wednesday, Oklahoma State’s roster can no longer go five-on-five in practice.

So Mike Boynton and OSU announced they would be holding walk-on tryouts Thursday night in hopes of some immediate reinforcements.

Tryouts are at 6 p.m. Thursday in Gallagher-Iba Arena. Those interested in trying out must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be within the five-year NCAA eligibility window (first enrolled in fall of 2014 or later)

• Have proof of health insurance, and have had a physical within the last six months

• Proof of a sickle cell test (can be done at the Student Health Center)

Anyone interested in chasing the dream must reach out to Alex Hirdler (405-744-0500 or alex.hirdler@okstate.edu) of the OSU compliance office immediately.

Oklahoma State travels to Iowa State on Saturday.
