Marco Reynolds is an author, poet, web designer, hospitality professional, photographer, and graphic designer. He attended Tulsa McLain High School. Marco worked at St. Simeon’s Episcopal Home for 2 years where his mother Stella Reynolds got him the job. Mrs. Reynolds worked there for nearly 30 years.

He studied at Oklahoma State University and The University of Tulsa. Marco obtained a Bachelor’s degree from OSU in Hotel and Restaurant Administration.

In addition to these interests and passions, his professional life is an enormous part of his character. During his professional career, Marco has worked with about 10 different hotels, including a premiere resort in Hawaii and a premiere vacation timeshare in Las Vegas over the span of two decades. Forming cultures that encourage superior customer service, is at the forefront of his strategic process, at every single property he has been fortunate enough to spend time. Marco believes in the power of program implementation to create change to a culture in the workplace.

Marco is revenue focused and believes problem-solving skills are invaluable to success when attempting to meet budget. He actively listens and encourages his team to provide service-focused experiences, while attempting to exceed customer expectations.

Early in his career, in his early teens, he worked in a retirement home. The experiences he learned during that journey cannot be expressed in words. The chance to interact with such a great wealth of knowledge has been cherished to this day.

Marco has been writing poetry since high school. His first poem was published in The Oklahoma Eagle. So, you can imagine how this success grew his passion and fueled his hunger. Marco started “A Poet’s Expression” to share his lessons in the hopes of being an inspiration. In his spare time, he enjoys creating artistic & graphic designs. His social media sites are full of his designs.

One of Marco’s goals has always been to publish a collection of his poetic writings, in 2013 he was fortunate enough to bring that dream to fruition.

For years we have tried to overcome…
We march on, we press on!
For many, tears will not fall.
We march on, we press on!
Our hope it seems has come and gone;
Yet still, we march on, we press on!

While overcoming, set-backs appear to be set-ups.
Marching forward has never been so tough-
Crying mothers for slain young victims,
Marching forward is still a must.
Hope strengthens weary souls…
Marching forward creates upholders who uphold.

Whether you kneel for justice,
Or stand for peace-
We must all agree;
Standing united leads to victory.
Standing united keeps mothers smiling!
Standing united creates hope for our future!

Evil individuals will never disappear completely;
We must focus on the guiding light of liberty-
When all else fails and the sun won’t shine…
Let us focus on our guiding light.
Is the way, clear to all?
Guiding light illuminates, radiates, and penetrates through walls.

Let your glory ring loud, stand proud-
This time is like no other, in history.
Remember, victory…remember victory;
Let your glory ring loud, stand proud-
This time is above all others, in history.
Remember to achieve…remember to achieve;
This time is above all others, in history.
