After taking a 2-0 series lead, the Golden State Warriors are in Cleveland for Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday with a perfect 14-0 playoff record and seeking revenge after blowing a 3-1 lead in last year’s Finals.

Sure, Games 1 and 2 have been painfully lopsided in favor of Golden State, which won the two games in Oakland by a combined 41 points. But as you might recall, last season was even more of a bludgeoning through two games; the Warriors won Games 1 and 2 by a combined 48 points — and we all know how that series turned out.

So the Warriors and Cavaliers are in a very familiar situation as last season, but will it produce a similar result? With Kevin Durant averaging 35.5 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, it’s clear Cleveland is having adjustment issues since K.D. is a bit of an upgrade from Harrison Barnes.

Can the Cavs bounce back with a win? Or will the Warriors, with arguably one of the most talented rosters league history, continue to blaze a historic trail and move to within one win away from a perfect postseason run?
